JSON Files

Many of the configuration files on the Alarmo are stored in MessagePack files, which (for Alarmo purposes) is essentially just binary-serialized JSON allowing for smaller filesizes.

Like the images on the Alarmo, the JSON files are also compressed using zstd.

Note

The only exception to this is the desc.json file found at the root of a theme's SHPAC archive, which is serialized using MessagePack but NOT compressed using zstd.
